Phase/Fraction Filter Holders

The 47mm Phase/Fraction Collector allows aliquots of filtrate to be collected during the filtration process for further analysis.  The 2-way Y bore PTFE valve directs liquid to drain through the main manifold or be diverted to a receiver sample tube.  The unique design does not require venting hazadous sample or solvents to the atmosphere.

Two mounting options are available:  P/FC-1 mounts on a standard manifold or filter flask using a #8 stopper, the P/FC-2 has a female 40/35 ground glass joint to mount on an extraction manifold.

Models are available with either the sintered glass base or removable stainless or PTFE support.  A stainless steel screen should be used when producing ultraclean filtrate or when filtering proteinaceous solutions.  A PTFE support is recommended with acidic solutions when a higher flow rate is desired.

Units are offered with a borosilicate glass funnel, base assembly, anodized aluminum clamp, clip. receiver tube, and silicone stopper No.8(P/FC-1)
