Glass Microfiber Capsule Filters are compact, self-contained, high throughput filter units ideal for small batch and lab scale volumes.  Can be used for point-of-use filtration or for pilot/prototype studies that can be scaled up to the same filter media in cartridge format.

Glass Microfiber is a depth-type matrix of borosilicate glass fibers with a small amount of acrylic resin binder for increased wet strength.  Resistant to most liquids except strong acids.  Use for sea water filtration, high viscosity liquids, fuels, oils, and as a prefilter to a final membrane.  The nominal retention of 0.45µm collects 99.9% of 1-1.5µm particles. The 1.0µm rating captures 99.9% at 1.5-2.0µm particles.
