All-PTFE Seal Filter Holders

The 47mm All-PTFE Seal Glass Microanalysis Holder is used for filtering liquid samples under vacuum for microbiological or particulate analysis.  The filter is sealed between PTFE surfaces.  The bottom of the funnel is coated with PTFE and the PTFE flange covers the contact surface on the glass base (except for the sintered glass base).  Holders with the flange eliminates the problem of the membrane adhering to the ground glass surface post autoclaving. 

A stainless steel screen should be used when producing ultraclean filtrate or when filtering proteinaceous solutions.  A PTFE support is recommended with acidic solutions when a higher flow rate is desired.
